roka+ was founded by Michelin-Star chef and business consultant, Axel Kammerl, and culinary professor and MBA Harald Rohrmoser in 2018. They have known each other since their culinary management studies in the United States in 2006. After years of intensive exchange about international trends, business designs, opportunities and failure cases, they decided to join forces to create value with premium culinary business designs.

Managing Partner

Axel Kammerl

was the head chef in various high class restaurants, and was awarded with a Michelin-Star for several years at Relais & Chateau Hotels in Germany. Since 2012, he has consulted food & beverage businesses in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy. His focus lies on product innovation, quality & process design, and technical consulting from start-to-finish.


Managing Partner

Harald Rohrmoser

had years of experience as executive chef and kitchen consultant in top five-star hotels in Germany, UK and Middle East and involved in many pre-opening projects, before he began his academic career as culinary professor in Singapore and South Korea. He was heading the Institut Paul Bocuse faculty as academic director at South Korea’s Woosong University before venturing back to Europe. He advises on food entrepreneuship and business design, strategic HR development and on international culinary innovation and trends.
